there are donor stuff u can get but needs to be verified by andreas or whoever in psyskallar lol. the support is so low andreas forgot / ignored the donor only stuff and lucky if he responded and gave that stuff to u. psyskallar is very very impressive and should get bigger loyal supporter. so i dont blame the dev for cancelling the remake, their situation are unfortunate this case/ underrated. And these type of games are not really "attractive" for mainstream gamers, the game so depressive it makes ppl just watching from youtube instead playing it themselves, even though this game has managed to be played by very famous youtuber for example markiplier and pewdiepie it still has a small community support for the devs. the only game that make me pussied out first time playing but managed to finish it for good. the game itself way too scary, i never found any horror games as COF. Hard to believe that there is no bigger studio taking a look at CoF which is such a cool game, still getting attention, a talented team behind it. already confirmed these source and UE COF project remake are cancelled, and there will be no remake unless YOU make it yourself and i believe psyskallar dev won't mind at all it saves them time and 0 sweat.

There IS a large fanbase for horror games, so many ppl are craving for a new Silent Hill, there are many Resident Evil fans and CoF, despite it's age still has a living fanbase. I have no idea how big the CoF fanbase is and how many % would spare a coin to support Team Psyskallar, but it should definitely being promoted.
There are successful projects out there, crowdfunding, etc. You're right, "for free" is no good option for a remake which is asking for much time, effort and of course money which is needed for the engine, recources, etc.

Read the description on this video that is cancelled project, there will be no remake dont u read info?, not to mention ppl just download for free gives a 0 crap about supporting, the dev also have no reply from valve. Instead, it’s being remade in something like Unreal 4, no clue how far they’re into it, but i think he’s taking donations for it.
